Welcome to the Pound Ridge Tennis Club

The Pound Ridge Tennis Club, founded in 1964, is a private, member-run club for tennis and platform tennis enthusiasts of all ages. It offers instruction from a top USPTA teaching pro, interclub team competition, a children’s summer camp and travel-tennis teams, and regular club-wide events such as round-robin tournaments, an annual season-opening cocktail party, a family cookout and other social gatherings.

The atmosphere is friendly and unpretentious. Events typically are organized and hosted by member-volunteers, creating a sense of community and mutual regard. It is a place for building lasting friendships centered on keen competition in a beautiful setting.

Jul 4, 2018: 10:30am start.  4th of July Mixed Doubles Scramble. Michele and Greg Diamond are hosting the scramble.  All levels are welcome.  Lunch and refreshments will be available.  Sign up on the sheet on the bulletin board on the shed near the tennis courts or send an email to Michele.Diamond97@gmail.com or Greg.Diamond@mbia.com.  The Club's white attire rule will be suspended for this event; feel free to represent yourself in the colors of our American flag.

Jul 14, 2018: 10:30am start.  Member-Member Mixed Doubles Tournament.  Betsy Moreno Berger and Mark Slivka are hosting this club tournament.  All levels are welcome.  Lunch and refreshments will be available.  Sign up on the sheet in the bulletin board on the shed near the tennis courts or send an email to BetsyMB@gmail.com or to Mark at temujin@aol.com.  If you need a partner, please check with Betsy and/or Mark to see if they can pair you up with a player.
